Firstly, brain storm your summer go-bag. Think of your go to activities such as: pool, park, biking. Then make up a list of essentials for each activity: towels, toys, sunscreen, water and snacks. Now when you are ready for an adventure, your bag will be set to go with you.
Next, it’s time to check the expiration dates on your sunscreen, poison ivy medicine, allergy medicine and bug bite itch cream. These are items that often get overlooked, so it’s a good idea to make sure they’re still good to use before you need them. No one likes running to the store at 10:00 pm.

Meal planning is another area that often needs an adjustment as we move into the warmer months. Consider shifting away from hearty soups and other winter favorites, and think about meals that are better suited for the summer. Batch grilling is a great option that allows you to make the most of the beautiful weather while preparing meals for the whole week.
