Joy Happenings
In full transparency – I, Lacey, am scheduling this newsletter to go out the week before you receive it… because when you read this, I will have just had a baby. I literally am awake early on the day I am scheduled to go in and get a c-section.
I share this because its such a weird lovely moment, me sitting here in my current excited present, writing to you in a hopeful future. I don’t know how it will all go, but I do know that this little community of support we’ve created would want to know and appreciate the moment of taking a breath, sharing this moment, and basking in the possibility.
Our stories are not linear (I mean I’m talking to you from the past right now), but they’re messy and ours. Maybe next week I will be here again telling you how it went! Or not because I will be post major surgery with a newborn and tired. Who knows!
I (Sara) was recently gifted a session with House of Colour. If you aren’t familiar, it is a process of discovering your personal colors. And I truly did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Learning not only what colors look best on me, but how the different colors made me feel. Many memories came up, experiencing new colors I had never tried, it was an adventure of color! Explore your joy this week with color and the feelings that come along with it.
