This morning I (Lacey) have been daydreaming. The beauty of these daydreams is that they can be as real and as abstract as my mind can take. At first, I didn’t think we had a true theme to this week’s newsletter, but now I think this week is all about our daydreams.
Whether we are daydreaming about self-care, a fantasy pet, or remembrances of the past, our daydreams can help us make sense of life, find comfort, or even the start of a solution. I encourage you to daydream today too, my friend.
Now, let’s jump in.

Just as Lacey said on a live stream a few weeks ago, “One bath isn’t going to cure me.” The term “self-care” gets used often to sell bath bombs, tea, or vacations, but we often miss the point that self-care needs to be part of our routine of life.
Parents often feel like this is impossible because of the huge list of things going on — so this week Sara acknowledged that story in our latest blog post, Self-Care Struggle for Parents. She gives some ideas on how to actually make self-care part of your life, because you deserve to be cared for too.
Any other amazing routine self-care tips? Just respond and we can share it wider.

If you could have any animal as a pet no matter how wild or exotic, which would you choose and why? Let your imagination run wild! Would you opt for a playful dolphin, a majestic tiger, or perhaps a cuddly koala?
Lacey’s favorite movie growing up was Aladdin (which now her kids watch in their van because it’s the only DVD she could find). As part of her daydreams of being sassy and brave Jasmine, she wanted a tiger like Rajah. She even had her own Rajah stuffed animal she would love on as a replacement.
Yes. I photoshopped my face onto Jasmine’s to give you a very accurate picture of what this relationship would look like. Some may say bold. I say, delusional but awesome for my daydreams. |

As we wrap up this week’s newsletter, I also want to remind you to daydream for the joy of it. Yes, it can be a handy tool in some ways, but sometimes it’s just a place for joy to run rampant.
We hope this newsletter has inspired you to embrace your daydreams and take small, meaningful steps towards realizing them. Keep dreaming, keep growing, and most importantly, keep spreading joy in your unique way.
Now go out there and spread some joy!
