Our last episode of Sharing The Middle Episode featured Amy Kemp. Lacey and Amy talk through her experience of getting a financial truth about her life and how it impacted and pushed her to build a new business to reach her goals. Take a listen if you haven’t yet!
Speaking of sharing stories, this Friday a special episode of No Shame In the Home Game is coming out looking at the Martha Documentary on Netflix. Lacey and Sara get deep into how Martha affected their own lives and the podcast.
My Mom (Sara here) was born to be a grandmother. And blood related or not, she lived to spoil all the littles in her life. She would send out Halloween cards with 5 dollar bills tucked in them, make cookies and goodie bags to hand out for every occasion (Groundhog’s Day—why not?). So to honor her birthday and her love of caring for all the children, I donate to an organization in my hometown called the Child Saving Institute (CSI). This group strives to fill in gaps for children from early childhood education, emergency shelter, to gaps in the foster system. Supporting a group that extends my Mom’s love into the world fills my heart with so much joy.
