Your Weekly Dose of Joy: New Life, Wagging Tales, and Living Support

Weekly Joy

A little bit of Joyful Support directly in your inbox!

This week’s newsletter is coming to you representing Joyful Support — a mix of joy and the real-life application of what giving and receiving support can look like. As we navigate through life’s transitions — both the challenging and the beautiful moments — we’re reminded that having a support system isn’t just nice to have, it’s essential. Whether you’re dealing with challenging emotions, finding joy in life’s tiny moments with pets, or tackling home management questions, we’re here to walk alongside you.

Joy Happenings

I (Lacey) had a baby just a week and a half ago! It’s been a wild ride for so many different reasons, but the most dramatic reason has been the onset of “Baby Blues.” I didn’t experience it the same way with my previous children, and I now want to petition for a name change.

Take a look at my Instagram Reel, where I talk about it more in depth.

During these first few weeks, I am going to be taking maternity leave on and off, depending on what feels right — it’s something I’m grateful to have from my partnership with Sara. It’s us living Joyful Support in real life, which is magical and something we hope can be achieved as we push the movement forward.

The amount of joy I (Sara) feel from dogs is actually slightly dangerous at times. When driving, I have to verbally tell myself to keep my eyes on the road and NOT the adorable squishy-faced dog on a walk with its owner.

When I can safely enjoy dogs, I soak up every moment. My dog, for the most part, is pretty relaxed and chill, but there are 30 seconds every morning when she gets excited. I hide her treat in the living room and then tell her “Find It.” While she is waiting for me to give her the command, she prances, jumps, and smiles. It is the smallest of moments, and it brings me so much joy.

What’s a tiny moment from this week that made you pause and smile?
