Joy Happenings

This week’s joy prompt is about superhero costumes. One Halloween on year, I (Sara here) dressed up as a generic superhero with a big belt buckle made by hand with duct tape, a cape, high black boots, duct tape crown to match, and confidence through the sky. I loved that costume and still have the belt buckle to remind me of that feeling.

But here’s the thing, I feel like that superhero every darn day. We all reach the end of the day feeling defeated by the things we did not do and depleted by how little left we have to give. Flip that script and choose to feel like the superhero you are. If this inspiration is feeling good, check out this week’s blog post for a little super hero motivation.

If you had to wear a superhero costume for an entire day, which superhero would you choose and how would you make it your own?

Lacey is having a hard time with this one because frankly, super hero costumes look like they’d be extremely uncomfortable. Too tight and her sensory issues would be off the charts. That being said, she’d probably go with Batman just to see what that sweet utility belt could bring to day to day life.

Last week on No Shame In the Home Game, we welcomed the beginning of Season 3 introducing a new aspect of Q/A from our listeners. Whatever question you have about making home management easier, you can take the step of submitting your question on our website. No question too big, too small, too gross, too weird. And remember, there is absolutely NO SHAME!

Remember, you can always take a step with the Home Management for Everyone course. It’ll help you be a superhero in your home!

As we wrap up this week’s newsletter, remember that you don’t need a cape or superpowers to be a hero in your own life. Your everyday actions, no matter how small, can make a big difference. Whether you’re tackling home management challenges or simply spreading a little joy, you’re part of our amazing Joyful Support Movement community. Keep being your authentic, superhero self, and don’t forget to share your joyful moments with us.

Now go out there and spread some joy!
