Let’s jump in!

Joy Happenings

Going back to school can bring up a lot of different feelings, and they can all exist together. For Sara, that first day in elementary was full of nervous anticipation with a rumbling stomach, itchy new dresses, and long picture sessions of standing still and smiling. And along with that was the joy of holding a bouquet of flowers from her parents’ garden in her hands to share with her teacher, the brand new school supplies that were all hers, and daily access to the school library.

Back to school always meant a sleepless night of excitement for Lacey. There was always so much room for possibility and a new start that sleep couldn’t compete with.

Lacey is having a hard time picking just one because she loved school so much. It would probably come as no surprise to you that her senior superlative was Teacher’s Pet.

This week on No Shame In the Home Game, we talked to Erin Johnson about Authentic Communication for a Happy Home. There’s so many nuggets of good information and advice for taking a step in this episode!
