A little bit of Joyful Support directly in your inbox!
Howdy, Friends!
Quick housekeeping – The Joyful Support Newsletter will be hitting your inboxes on Tuesdays! Part of Joyful Support is setting ourselves up for success, and this change will set us up for more success (why are Mondays so busy?!?).
Let’s jump into our Joyful Support Steps.
Joy Happenings
Last week, you started to hear more about Lacey’s story in this week’s Sharing The Middle. Specifically, growing up through the lens of a conversation with her friend Emma. Part Two of the conversation comes out Thursday and gets really deep.
Some of you will notice that Sharing The Middle is no longer Mddl. The Mddl itself (Lacey’s previous venture) still lives on in this Podcast and on the Joyful Support Network website. We are in the process of moving all of her previous posts will be there if you ever want to delve deep into her story.
Joyful Prompt
It’s Mother’s Day this weekend and we, as two mothers, want to hear about what brought you joy from your mom (grandma, aunt, caretaker, whoever has filled that mother role for you). More specifically, we want to hear how them doing a thankless task (taking you to practices, making excellent breakfasts, folding your clothes just right, etc.) made your life easier and more joyful.
Get Thanked! Lacey and Sara want to thank you for the tedious and unnoticed tasks in your life. Let us know what you want to be thanked for and we will make a video thanking you. Just respond to this email with your task, the more specific the better!
No Shame In The Home Game
Tirra’s second episode dropped on Friday, and it happened to be one of our favorites. Tirra’s experience as a retired homeschool teacher/mom really inspired our Joyful Prompt this week because she deserves all the recognition for her role. Take a listen to hear the full conversation.
That’s all from us – thanks for joining us with a little bit of joy. As always, we would love to hear from you! Respond back with what you’d like help with in your life or an idea for a Joyful Prompt. We would love for this to be a two-way conversation.
