Sometimes this all feels like an insurmountable pile of overwhelm we can never conquer. The result? Feeling like we’re never doing enough, never getting it right. Trust me, we’ve all been there.

What if I told you this doesn’t mean you’re failing? In fact, it means you’re amazing!
- Life asked you to do 1,000 things today (which is impossible), and you did 100. Congratulations! That’s incredible!
- There are clothes in the dryer that need to be folded, but you’re done and going to bed. Good for you! You got the laundry started and moving in the right direction ON TOP of all the other things you had to do today.
- You ordered a pizza for dinner because you just couldn’t stick to the meal plan you made five days earlier when your energy level wasn’t depleted by the week. Fantastic! You pivoted and listened to yourself saying, “Give me a break, I’m exhausted.”
Looking at Perspective Around Motivation
In this culture of “try harder, do more, push, push, push,” I’m telling you: you’ve done a great job. “That’ll do, pig” (movie reference, not an insult). Gold stars all around!
