About Us

We’re a community support platform for everyday ease. We meet people in the messy middle and offer practical tools, authentic connection, and joyful momentum—so you can breathe, feel seen, and take your next small step with more ease, clarity, and joy.

Our Mission

Create a platform where people find genuine connection, practical systems, and joyful support for every part of life—so it becomes easier to live, lead, and grow. No perfection required. No shame attached.

What We Stand For
  • Welcoming, not performative. We meet you where you are—messy, tired, tangled and all.
  • Grounded and practical. Real systems, real support, real tools—not fluff.
  • Warm and non‑judgmental. All emotions welcome. No shame, no perfection pressure.
  • Small steps, real momentum. Tiny moves create big ripples over time.
  • Authentic over ideal. We lead from the messy middle, not a pretend mountaintop.
  • Inclusive by design. Many paths and paces. Every story matters.

How we work: clear, loving, plain‑language tools you can use today—always aimed at easing your load, never adding to it.

Why We Started

We met at the exact right moment. Lacey was navigating a chronic illness and the way it rearranges a life. Sara was burned out from carrying a business on sheer grit. We signed up for a class looking for clarity, became accountability partners, and realized we were building the same thing from two angles: a place where real life is named and next steps feel doable.

Lacey brings honest storytelling and the courage to say what’s true. Sara brings grounded, practical support for the everyday stuff that makes or breaks a week. Together we kept asking, “What would actually help?” The answer turned into Joyful Support Movement: a simple, human platform for truth, small steps, and company along the way. We can’t remove every hard thing—but we can make it lighter to carry, together.

Our Promise
  • We’ll meet you where you are—no shame, no perfection pressure.
  • We’ll keep it simple—plain language, small steps, real tools.
  • We’ll honor your capacity—support that lightens the load, not adds to it.
  • We’ll move together—belonging, practical help, and steady momentum.

FAQs

What is the Joyful Support Movement?

A community support platform for everyday ease. We meet people in the messy middle with honest stories, simple tools, and welcoming spaces.

Who is this for?

Anyone who’s tired of doing it alone. Especially folks balancing home, health, relationships, and work who want belonging and practical help—without perfection pressure.

How is the newsletter different from the blog?

The Practical Hug is a personal weekly note with one story, one small joy, and one step. The blog holds evergreen how‑tos and deeper dives you can find when you need them.

Which podcast should I start with?

Sharing the Middle for honest stories. Joy Moments for quick sparks of joy. No Shame In Our Game for simple, doable steps.

What does “Join the Village” mean?

It’s our community membership. Choose your level of connection and support. Come as you are and move at your pace.

How much time does this take?

Very little. We design everything for low capacity: short episodes, one‑page notes, simple steps. You can dip in and out as needed.

I have limited energy/capacity. Will this add to my load?

No. Everything is built to lighten the load—plain language, small steps, and options to go slower or pause.

Can I join without participating in live events?

Yes. Many people read, listen, and use resources on their own timeline. Live touchpoints are optional.

Is this therapy or medical advice?

No. We are a Peer Support organization. We offer community, conversation, and practical tools. We’re not a substitute for professional care.

How do I get updates without joining the membership?

Subscribe to The Practical Hug for one short weekly note, or follow the podcasts. You’ll still get clear, kind support.

How do I start if I’m overwhelmed?

Pick one small thing: listen to a 10‑minute Joy Moments episode, or read The Practical Hug. Then stop. That counts.

How do I contact you about partnerships or speaking?

Reach out via email to hello@joyfulsupportmovement.com. We review requests weekly and respond as capacity allows.
